We are very pleased with how well the children have adapted to the new home learning schedule and are very impressed with the work that has been uploaded onto SeeSaw for us. We will be showing some of their work here and will changing the Gallery weekly so please come check to see if your work has made it onto here.
Also, we would like to say a big “Thank you” to all the parents, Grandparents, and Carers for helping to make this unusual situation we find ourselves in, so successful, we can see the results here.

One month ago, me and my friend, Ash, went on a trip to the woods. We found a glowing light between trees so me and Ash decided to go in and when we did thunderbolts and a bright yellow light shone from inside. After that it all disappearerd but Ash was missing as I noticed some pokemons. After a couple of minutes, I saw more pokemon and then I was sure that we where in a pokemon world. I suddenly turned my head and I found Ash tied up to a tree. Once I got closer to the tree, a seed hit me in the head. Another seed hit me again but this time I saw I was doing this. It was a Toucannon with his alaise Pikipek and Trumbeak. They were all staring at me when I saw them. Then they tied me up. I tried to slide out but they tied the knott really hard. A Salandit and Salazzle where about to use Venoshock which was toxic blobs coming out of their mouth but a Lycanroc (Dusk form) used stone edge which is rocks coming out from the ground and made the toxic blob go away. Then, it bit through the ropes and scared away the other pokemons. We all thanked Lycanroc and then a pokeball came from the sky and lycanroc told me to catch him. I agreed and caught him. Now I have a pet. Once I caught him, the portle came out again. Me and Ash went back in and we came back to the real world with a pokemon safe and sound. It was such an amazing adventure!
There was a boy called Jafari, he lived in a place called Maiko. You can come here to visit the national park which is setin the Republic of Congo.
It is a beautiful village surround by lots of tropical rain forests. Jafari was a very active boy who enjoyed always being busy and helping his dad with the daily chores around his little village and the surrounding villages, it also ment Jafari was able to visit all his neighbours and have a good chat. They were very kind to Jafari as they would offer him bread and water whilst he was helping his dad and in return he would help them fetch the water from the water hole, go fruit picking and help them around the village if anything was wrong.
Jafari would always feel so happy at the end of the day as he knew he was helping and being kind to others. But Jafari knew there was something bigger and better that he wanted to be…….
But most of all Jafari’s favourite part of his day was heading into the rain forests and watcing all the animals and what they would all be getting up too.
One day whilst him and his dad were in their truck going from one village to the next they have to crossover a river. Jafari always enjoys this part as he loves hearing the sound of the water whooshing through the wheels of the truck and Jafari hangs over the said to watch all the fish swimming quickly away so they dont get squashed.
But this day was so much better as just as they had crossed the river and Jafari had seen all the fish and we were just arriving at the water hole to fill up our butts to take to the next village there in front of us was the most beautiful elephant.
We stopped and waited for a while and realised she was not moving so we carefully got out of our truck and made our way ove to see if there was a problem and yes there was.
Her baby elephant was laying on the ground. My dad went over to the mummy elephant and told me to go and check the baby was ok.
As i crouched down i could see he was caught in a hole.
Jafari shouted to his dad that the elephant’s foot was stuck in a hole.
Jafari’s dad told him to go to the truck and see if we have anything that we could use to make the hole bigger.
With that he ran to the truck and couldnt find anything so he hunted around and though if he could put some wood together he could use that to scrape the earth around it.
Once Jafari had made a digging stick he got to work, whilst his dad made sure the babe and mummy elephant were ok.
After a long time digging the elephant was able to move his leg and get it out of the hole.
He ran straight over to his mum, Jafari believed his mum looked at both of them in a way that he knew was a thank you.
Once they were back in the truck and on their way to the village Jafari knew then that he wanted to become a vet as helping animals he felt was just as rewarding as helping other.
